Also known as 4-Hour Florida First Time Driver course- It's a state required course for new adult drivers in the state of Florida. If you are 18 or over and want to get your driver's license, you must take this 4-Hour First Time Driver course before applying for your learner's permit and/or driver's license. This course is state approved by Department Highway Safety Motor Vehicles (DHSMV) in Tallahassee, Florida.
DO NOT take this course if you already have a current driver's license from another country, or a learner's permit from another state, or if you are 17 or younger.
DUI
You can be charged with Driving Under the Influence if you are found to be driving a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcoholic beverages or other dugs.
