What are the eligibility requirements for the permit exam?

• You must be at least 15 years old.
 • Bring you Florida Identification Card (FL ID).
 • If you don't have a FL ID, bring your passport and social security card (SSC). If you don't have a passport bring your American birth certificate with another ID with a photo, and your SSC
 • If you are in the middle of an immigration process bring your passport, work permit, and social.
 • If you are an International student bring your passport, I-20 or F1 Visa, and your social.
 • If you are a visitor bring your passport and I-94 Form

I've failed this permit exam 3 times already. Can I take it with you?

Accepted Answer

No. If you have failed this exam 3 times at the DMV or with any other Third-Party Administrator, you must go to the DMV to keep taking this exam. You are not eligible to take it with us or with any other third-party administrator.

What is the fee for retaking the driving exam if I fail?

Accepted Answer

If you fail the permit exam at our location, the retake fee is $30. If you fail the exam at the DMV or any other third-party location and come to us for your retake, the fee is $75 for the exam plus an additional $10 that goes to the DMV, totaling $85.

Do you do a preparation class before the exam?

Before the exam you are invited to watch a 30-minute video and take a practice test to refresh your knowledge and boost your confidence. It's a great way to review key concepts.

Am I going to have to repeat the exam at the DMV?

It's not very likely that you have to do that, but is possible. The DMV randomly selects 1 out of 100 people coming form a Third-Party vendor to repeat the exam.

Are walk-ins accepted for the permit exam?

Accepted Answer

We cannot guarantee service for walk-in visitors. We primarily operate by appointment out of respect for our customers' time. However, you are welcome to try walking in from Monday to Friday if necessary, but we strongly recommend scheduling an appointment to ensure you are served in a timely manner.

Do I have to take this exam if I have a learner's permit from another State?

Accepted Answer

No, it's not necessary. If you have a learner's permit from another State, just visit your local DMV and get your permit transferred to a FL learner's permit.

What is your cancellation policy on permit exams?

Accepted Answer

Cancellations or rescheduling at least 24 hours of your appointment: No cancellation Fees
Cancellations or rescheduling within 24 hours of your appointment:  A 50% fee will be charged based on the total service cost.
No-shows:  The exam will be forfeited and is non-refundable.

If you cancel your exam and request a refund at least 48 hours before your scheduled appointment
 a partial refund will be issued after the following deductions are applied.

• Merchant Processing Fee: We cover this fee when you book. If a refund is issued, this fee will be deducted from your refund.
 • Administrative Fee: A $15 administrative fee will also be deducted to cover the time and resources spent managing the cancellation and refund.
