FL Learner Permit & Driver License

Here you will see general information regarding how to obtain a Florida Driver License.

Regardless of your age you will need a Florida learner's permit or driver's license to drive in Florida if you live here. Click HERE to learn how to get a learner permit.

With a learner's permit you are not allowed to drive alone. You must drive accompanied by an adult over 21 also holding a driver license.

If you are under 18 you must hold a learner's permit for at least 1 year without traffic violations before been eligible to apply for a driving exam/driver license.

If you want to get a Florida driver's license and you already have a license from another country, you must pass the permit exam and the driving exam to be eligible to obtain a Florida Driver's License.

If you are planning to take the driving exam with us or with any other TPA, you must have an original Florida learner's permit regardless of your age. No pictures or copies are accepted

If you have a learner's permit from another state you can get it transferred to a Florida learner's permit at your local DMV.

If you have a license from another state you can get it transferred to a Florida driver's license at your local DMV.

We are a Third Party Administrator authorized by the DMV to administer the driver license exams. Learner permit and driver license are issued by the DMV, not by this school.

All applicants that take any exam with us are subject to random selection for re-examination at the driver license office (DMV),

We highly recommend to make an appointment with the DMV for driver license collection.

We don't make DMV appointments on behalf of our customers. We don't sell DMV appointments. We don't have any preference to make DMV appointments

If you have further questions contact or visit your local DMV

Remember

"Always carry your driver license or learner permit with you when driving, and always have proof of vehicle registration and insurance with you in the vehicle you are driving"
