How Do I Get My Learner's Permit?

If you are under 18:

• Complete the 4-Hour First Time Driver Course Online. English here or Espanol aqui.

• Study the Florida Driver License Handbook English here or Español aquí.

• Book here a Preparation Class and the Florida Permit Exam in our office. You can also take the exam online English here or Español aqui.

• See what documents you must bring the day of your appointment to take your permit exam and to pick up your permit at the DMV.

If you are over 18:

​

• Complete the 4-Hour First Time Driver Course Online. English here or Español aqui. You do NOT need to take this course if you have another state or country driver's license.

• Study the Florida Driver License Handbook English here or Español aquí.

• Book here a Preparation Class and the Florida Permit Exam in our office.

• See what documents you must bring the day of your appointment to take your permit exam and to pick up your permit at the DMV.

 

Please, consider the notice below if you take the Permit Exam with us or with any other Third Party Administrator (TPA):

“All applicants are subject to random selection for re-examination at the driver license office prior to the issuance of any license. Failure to pass the random re-exam will require the applicant to pass the knowledge exam prior to license issuance”.​
